Every contribution helps us continue to develop the club, support our members and invest in the future of SURC.

We are currently working on setting up a way for supporters to donate directly to the club through our website. In the meantime, if you would like to make a donation or support SURC financially, please get in touch with us by email and we'll be happy to help.

Sponsor SURC

We're always open to working with businesses, brands and organisations that would like to support SURC and become part of our community.

There are plenty of ways to work with us, from financial sponsorship to teamwear, equipment, events, services and other collaborations. We're also happy to explore new ideas and find a partnership that works for both SURC and your organisation.

If you're interested in sponsoring or working with the club, get in touch with us by email, Instagram or through any of our social media channels.

Fundraiser Campaigns

Fundraising is an important part of life at SURC. Throughout the year, we take on different challenges and campaigns, whether that's raising money to support the club or coming together to raise funds for other causes.

Movember

Every November, our Senior and Novice Men grow moustaches for Movember, raising awareness and funds for men's health, including mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

During the same month, we also hold our 12-hour ergathon, another of the club's fundraising events.

12 Days of SURCmas

One of our annual traditions is the 12 Days of SURCmas, where members of the club take part in festive challenges and activities in the run-up to Christmas, raising money and supporting different causes along the way.

The 2026 SURC Fundraiser

After some of our boats were damaged during the Easter break, the whole club came together to take on a series of fundraising challenges, with the aim of raising £7,500 to help cover the cost of the damage and get our boats back on the water.

With an original target of £7,500, squads across the club took on their own challenges to help raise as much as possible.

Our Senior Men cycled 306 km from Sheffield to London, while our Senior Women completed a 62-mile rowing challenge at Damflask. Members of our Novice and Senior Men's squads took on the Three Peaks Challenge, alongside an erg challenge, while our Novice Women completed an ergathon, pushing beyond their original 12-hour challenge to keep going for 13 hours.

Together, with the incredible support of our alumni, friends, families and wider community, we went well beyond our original target and raised over £10,500 for the club.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, shared our campaign or supported us along the way.
