Unfortunately Sports Awards will be virtual this year, however it is still a much anticipated event with the club being short-listed for 2 awards:
Club of the Year - for results including qualification at Henley Women’s Regatta, collaborations with other Sheffield clubs and other rowing clubs, improvements to our fleet thanks to our sponsors and our amazing fundraising and volunteering efforts.
Fundraising Initiative - for our 12 Days of Charity event in which we raised £3700 for the Children’s Hospital Charity and over £4700 for charities in total.
Also, three of our members have been nominated for the prestigious Black and Gold Award: Tom Walker, Max Secunda and Sam Armistead.
All three will be graduating this year and have made outstanding contributions to the club. We will miss them and hope to see them back at our Alumni events.
